Piqqual is a fabless semiconductor company in San Jose, California with products in the mixed signal tuner / demodulator fields. Our products cover various digital TV standards that cover many regions across the world. Due to the versatile features and interfaces of our devices, Piqqual can target a wide variety of applications ranging from stationary digital TV to portable LCD TVs to mobile phones, all at a very high performance and low power consumption at the same time.

Management
Amrish Patel – President and CEO
Amrish is a seasoned executive with the history of 'growing companies' from start-up to major players, and a track record of successful M&A deals. He was most recently Senior VP and GM at Conexant responsible for the Digital Home Group. Prior to that he was assigned the task of diversifying Globespan from 'Pure Play DSL' to multi-billion dollar revenue communication IC company. Amrish led the merger and acquisition team and successfully integrated Intersil's WLAN group with Globespan.
Mohammad Moradi – VP of Engineering
Prior to co-founding Piqqual, Mohammad served as the Vice President of Engineering at MediaPhy and before that Vice president of Engineering in the Access division of Centillium Communications where he joined during the first round of funding and played a crucial role during its IPO phase. Prior to Centillium, he held senior level positions at Cirrus Logic, Racal Datacom and AT&T Paradyne. Mohammad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Florida Institute of Technology and an Executive MBA from Haas School of business in Berkeley, California.
